Osteopathy is a gentle, hands-on approach to supporting your body's natural ability to heal
It works by assessing how your muscles, joints, and bones are functioning, and how these structures are connected. Whether you’re seeking relief from pain, recovering from injury, or improving your overall mobility, osteopathy can help restore balance and ease.
By working with your body rather than against it, osteopathy helps reduce tension, improve circulation, and encourage better movement — leaving you feeling freer, more comfortable, and more at home in your body.

How We Treat (An Integrative Process)
Mobilisation & Manipulation
Gentle joint movements help restore your natural range of motion. In manipulation (HVT), a quick, precise hand pressure is applied to the joint to relieve pain, improve movement, and support nerve function.
You may hear a popping or clicking sound — similar to clicking your knuckles — thought to be gas releasing within the joint.
Soft Tissue or Deep Tissue Massage
Relieves muscle tension, eases trigger points, and improves circulation to encourage faster healing. By working into deeper layers of muscle, this treatment can help reduce pain, improve flexibility, and restore comfort.
Note: This may be integrated within your Osteopathy session. We also offer Deep Tissue Massage as a separate treatment, not with Emily.
K-Tape / Kinesiology Tape
A supportive tape designed to help muscles and joints without limiting movement. It can aid injury recovery, reduce swelling, and provide gentle support between treatments. Many people also find it helps improve posture and ease discomfort during daily activities.
Dry Needling / Medical Acupuncture
A very fine, sterile needle is placed into a muscle “trigger point” to release deep tension. This can reduce pain, improve range of motion, and support recovery from injury or chronic tightness. You may feel a brief twitch or ache as the muscle relaxes — a normal and temporary response.
